Volkswagen has added a third model to its range of sport utility vehicles in 2020 with the all-new Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, a sportier five-passenger version of the larger Volkswagen Atlas. With the new Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport, we get a high-quality SUV that emphasizes style, performance, driving pleasure and versatility.
Introduced in 2017 as a concept at the New York Auto Show, the new Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport is now at the production stage. Visually, it offers the general look of the Atlas, but with a sharper styling and slightly different dimensions. Despite being smaller than the Atlas, it will still offer 1,141 litres of cargo space with all seats in place and 2,283 litres with the rear seat lowered.
In terms of engines, it offers the turbo four-cylinder engine that delivers 235 horsepower, but it can also be powered by a 3.6-litre V6 that delivers 276 horsepower. It will be offered with 4Motion all-wheel drive and comes in three versions: Trendline, Comfortline and Execline.
