Wireless App-Connect, wireless charging, and six USB-C ports (with eight available) featuring 45 watts of fast charging come standard.

The all-new Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport come with enhanced driver assistance technology in the form of their standard IQ.DRIVE system. On highways, this advanced semi-automatic system provides lane centering to reduce driver fatigue on longer trips and alerts drivers of any surprise obstacles in front of them. 2024 VW Atlas Lineup Introduces a Powerful and Fuel-Efficient Turbocharged Engine

The refreshed 2024 VW Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport also come with significant improvements under the hood. There’s a brand-new, turbocharged four-cylinder TSI engine under the hood that provides 269 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque, delivering similar power to the previous VR6 model but with improved fuel economy. An eight-speed automatic transmission and 4MOTION all-wheel drive system come standard on all models, as well as an impressive 5,000 pounds of towing capacity. The increased torque over a broader rev range also offers smoother accelerations and improved performance overall. This new engine delivers the performance of the previous 3.6-litre V6, but with the efficiency of the turbocharged 2.0-litre. 

The Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport Are Redesigned For 2024

The new Volkswagen Atlas and VW Atlas Cross Sport have been redesigned for the 2024 model year with a more stylish and distinctive look. On both new 2024 VW SUVs, a wide four-bar chrome grille is framed by LED headlights with the newly standard Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS). On all but base trims, the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) wrap around the headlights and continue into an illuminated lightbar that sits atop an illuminated VW logo - giving these vehicles a premium appearance.

The exterior of the upcoming Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sport is sure to turn heads. Each model features a new front fascia design with integrated air intakes, while at the rear there is a large spoiler plus an illuminated lightbar and a VW logo between the LED taillights. For those looking for something a bit more distinctive, the Cross Sport boasts gloss-black grille details and a bold "X" pattern across the lower fascia like the Taos. To top it off, the Atlas Cross Sport boast a more aggressive rear diffuser than its predecessor, ensuring these two models stand out from one another.

The wheels have also been redesigned. These range from 18 inches to 20 inches with machined alloy and black finishes available. For those looking for an extra touch of style, the R-line trims come equipped with a gloss-black grille, 21-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, and signature R-line badging. Offering a fresh look that's sure to turn heads, the newly designed wheel designs will provide you with a stylish ride no matter which trim level you choose.
