The 2023 Volkswagen SUV lineup has three models that have been significantly redesigned this year and a brand-new SUV in the 2023 VW Taos. The new Atlas is a three-row SUV that has received significant improvements inside and out while the Atlas Cross Sport gives you the same luxury without the third row. Here, we take a look at the 2023 Tiguan and the 2023 Taos.
2023 Volkswagen Tiguan
Like the Atlas, the Tiguan has received significant improvements this year. It has a much more luxurious interior as well as a new and bolder exterior design. It is also one of the most spacious and versatile SUVs you can buy right now in the compact SUV segment. It has 1,065 L of cargo space, and you can get over 2,000 L of cargo space by lowering the rear seat. Moreover, you get one of the most powerful and efficient engines you can find in a compact SUV.
The 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that powers the Tiguan offers 184 hp and 221 pound-feet of torque. This engine has the most torque of any other engine in this class right out of the gate and it makes for a very engaging and dynamic driving experience.
2023 Volkswagen Taos
We have talked a lot about the 2023 Volkswagen Taos. It is a small SUV with a lot of space and that provides a lot of driving fun. If you were an owner of a Volkswagen Golf in the past, you will find the same driving dynamics and performance in the Taos with more versatility. With 758 L of cargo space, this is one of the most spacious SUVs you can find in its class and offers features you will not find anywhere else like a standard digital instrument cluster. It has advanced connected features as well through the Volkswagen Car-Net at and it has the most torque of any SUV in its segment.
Is powered by a 1.5 L turbocharged four-cylinder with 158 hp and 184 pound-feet of torque. Despite the performance, it averages under 8 L per 100 km an average fuel consumption.
