2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport: A lot to offer with style to boot

The 2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport was unveiled a few years ago and is still going strong. Although it shares its name with the larger, three-row Atlas, the Atlas Cross Sport is more than just another version of the Atlas. It’s its own model with its own features and own distinct target audience. Still, it does bring to the table everything we love about the Atlas including versatility, performance, interior space, and driving pleasure.

Priced very competitively, the 2022 Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport comes standard with 4MOTION all-wheel drive. That means that regardless of the version you buy, you will be able to face any kind of weather in the new Atlas Cross Sport. Offered in multiple versions, the Atlas Cross Sport offers features such as dual-zone climate controls, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, panoramic sunroof, an 8.0-inch centre touchscreen, keyless access with push-button start, 20-inch wheels, and so much more.

The top-of-the-line model features 20-inch wheels ventilated front seats, a 360-degree camera, a Fender premium audio system, and a Volkswagen digital cockpit. All 2022 Atlas Cross Sport models get heated front seats, 18-inch wheels, blind spot monitoring, and LED headlights.

Powering the 2022 Atlas Cross Sport is a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine with 235 horsepower. There’s also a more powerful 3.6-litre V6 with 276 horsepower. Both engines deliver on power with the turbo engine being a bit more efficient.

Inside the Atlas Cross Sports there’s over 1,050 litres of cargo space with all seats in place, making the new VW mid-size SUV larger than the Chevrolet Blazer, Ford Edge, and Nissan Murano. There’s also plenty of space inside the cabin for both front and rear passengers.
