Turner Volkswagen is growing our team, and we're looking for a reliable, energetic, and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer who takes pride in their work and enjoys working around vehicles.
As a Detailer at Turner Volkswagen, you’ll play an important role in making sure our new and pre-owned vehicles look their absolute best for our customers. You’ll work in a modern dealership environment alongside a supportive team, with the equipment and training you need to succeed.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is organized, takes initiative, enjoys working with vehicles, and wants a stable full-time position with a locally owned company.
What You'll Do
- Thoroughly clean, detail, and prepare new and pre-owned vehicles for display and delivery.
- Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet Turner Volkswagen's standards for presentation and cleanliness.
- Maintain the appearance and organization of vehicles throughout our showroom and display lots.
- Assist with organizing and maintaining our new and used vehicle inventory.
- Assist with online vehicle listings and ensure vehicle information and photos are properly presented on the Turner Volkswagen website.
- Assist the Lot Manager with receiving new vehicles when required, including moving and organizing vehicles delivered by transport trucks.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional dealership environment.
- Drive and maneuver a wide variety of vehicles safely, including vehicles of different sizes, makes, models, and transmissions.
- Look for ways to improve processes, efficiency, and the overall presentation of our inventory.
- Represent Turner Volkswagen professionally and contribute positively to our team and customer-first culture.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in doing a thorough and high-quality job.
- Is dependable, punctual, organized, and able to work independently.
- Has a positive attitude and is willing to pitch in wherever needed.
- Is comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Has good attention to detail and understands the importance of vehicle presentation.
- Is physically capable of performing the duties associated with automotive detailing, including standing, bending, reaching, and working around vehicles for extended periods.
- Is comfortable driving and maneuvering vehicles in tight spaces.
- Has a valid BC driver's licence and a clean ICBC driver's abstract.
- Is comfortable driving both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles.
- Is professional in appearance and conduct and willing to wear a company-provided uniform.
- Is open to learning, change, and finding better ways to get the job done.
Previous automotive detailing experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person.
