Automotive Sales Manager

Compensation: $120,000 – $150,000 annually (salary + performance-based incentives)
About the Role
Turner Volkswagen is seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive performance at our dealership in Kelowna, BC. This is a key leadership role responsible for maximizing sales, developing team members, and delivering an exceptional customer experience that aligns with Volkswagen brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed monthly and annual targets
- Drive new and pre-owned vehicle sales performance, profitability, and market share
- Ensure a customer-first sales process that delivers an outstanding buying experience
- Analyze sales metrics, forecasts, and inventory to support strategic decision-making
- Recruit, train, and develop sales staff, including ongoing performance management
- Ensure compliance with Volkswagen Canada policies and dealership standards
- Collaborate with Finance, Service, and Marketing departments to support dealership goals
- Stay current with Volkswagen products, promotions, and industry trends
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience as an Automotive Sales Manager (Volkswagen or European brand experience is an asset)
- Past automotive Finance Management experience is an asset
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and profitability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Solid understanding of automotive sales processes, CRM systems, and inventory management
- A strong understanding of digital marketing, social media and web analytics
- Operates with integrity, is trusted and respected by others
- Actively engages with staff with a team first mentality
- Organized and process driven with a strong understanding of time and priority management
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurability requirements
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and expense management
Compensation & Benefits
